Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 July 2026 · ECM Enterprises Ltd, Auckland, New Zealand
1. Who we are and what we do
GhanaVisaAssist ("we", "us") is a trading name of ECM Enterprises Ltd, a private company registered in New Zealand. We provide an application assistance service for Ghana electronic visas (eVisas): we review your documents, lodge your application on the official Government of Ghana portal (evisa.immigration.gov.gh) on your behalf, track its progress, and support you until a decision is issued.
We are not a government body. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Government of Ghana or the Ghana Immigration Service. You may apply directly at evisa.immigration.gov.gh and pay only the applicable government fee.
2. Fees
Our total price has two itemised parts, shown before you pay and on every receipt:
- Government fee — set by Ghanaian authorities, paid on your behalf at lodgement (US$260 for a standard single-entry eVisa, US$338 for 48-hour priority, US$468 for a standard multiple-entry eVisa at the time of writing). Amounts shown on our site are confirmed at checkout and may change without notice.
- Service fee (US$35 per application) — our charge for document review, lodgement, tracking and support.
3. What we promise — and what we can't
- We will review your documents before lodgement and tell you if anything is likely to cause a rejection.
- We will lodge your application accurately on the official portal and keep you informed of its status.
- We cannot and do not guarantee approval. Visa decisions rest solely with the Ghana Immigration Service. Be wary of any agency that claims otherwise.
- Processing times shown on our site are the government's published figures, not guarantees. Apply well ahead of travel.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide true, accurate and complete information and genuine documents. Lodging an application containing false information is an offence under Ghanaian law and grounds for immediate termination of our service without refund of the service fee.
- Check that your passport meets the validity requirements stated on our site.
- Hold a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate — it is required for Ghana.
- Respond promptly if we or the immigration authorities request corrections or additional documents.
5. Refunds
Our refund terms are set out in the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: everything is refunded in full if we fail to lodge your application; government fees are non-refundable once lodged, per government policy.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us (government fee + service fee). We are not liable for losses arising from decisions of immigration authorities, airline boarding decisions, changes to government rules or fees, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986 where those apply.
7. General
- These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
- We may update these terms; the version published at the time you submit your application applies to it.
